‘OBC quota is a sensitive issue’

Jaipur: Randhawa described the demand to increase the OBC quota from the current 21 per cent to 27 per cent as a “very sensitive issue” and said any decision in this regard would be arrived at only after consultation with the MLAs and due deliberations. On the demand for a caste census, he said Bihar made an attempt, but that was stayed by the court. He said all legal angles have to be considered before taking a decision on it. He said that the issue was discussed with the CM, but a decision would be taken only after due consultation with the MLAs.
