Jack Whitehall insists Robbie Savage was the best footballer he has played with in charity matches.
According to the comedian, Savage was more impressive than legendary Dutch midfielders Edgar Davids and Clarence Seedorf.
Whitehall was speaking about his experience in exhibition games ahead of the upcoming Soccer Aid match - live on talkSPORT this Sunday.
A regular at Soccer Aid, Whitehall has shared the pitch with some of the game's most famous players.
But when asked to name the best, his choice stunned podcaster JaackMaate.
Whitehall said: "I played in a lot of those celebrity football matches.
"The most impressive thing is that I played with Clarence Seedorf, Edgar Davids, Alessandro Del Piero...
"And honestly, out of all the players I played with, the most impressive was Robbie Savage.
"It was maybe because he was a little bit fitter and he'd only just retired the year before.
"But he was everywhere. All over the pitch.
