Sofyan Amrabat’s brother has given an update on his situation amid Manchester United links.
Amrabat featured in last night’s Europa Conference League final which saw West Ham lift the title and after the game his brother Nordin was asked about the Fiorentina midfielder’s plans.
“He wants to go to the top, you are not going to trade Italy for the middle bracket of the Premier League,” he said. “At Barcelona, he is high on the list but you know Barca’s financial situation. Of course you never know, it will be a strong competition when you see which names are going.
“But my brother now has the intention to play in the top, preferably in Spain or England, I think. Ten Hag is now looking for a striker, he wants that first. From there he will see what is possible.
“But I know that Ten Hag is charmed by my brother. He broke through under him and they have a good relationship, so who knows.”
Manchester United are considering sending Mason Greenwood on loan next season.
Man United are currently going through an internal investigation into the forward who saw charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault discontinued in February.
However, the club are looking into a possible move for Greenwood that could see him spend next season at a team abroad, according to the Mail Online.
Italy, Spain and Turkey are thought to be the three likeliest options, with a loan move to Europe seeing him secure gametime while the investigation continues.
The prospect a loan would also allow Man United to gauge public reaction along with the player’s mental health and physical condition.
Donny van de Beek is set to leave Manchester United this summer.
Van de Beek has made just 28 starts at the club since signing from Ajax in 2020, with an horrible injury ruining his first season under Erik ten Hag.
And now Fabrizio Romano reports that the Dutchman will explore his options during the transfer window in the aim of finding regular first-team football.
The midfielder, who will return from his injury in time for pre-season, loves Man United but is keen to move on to get some much-needed game time.
Nottingham Forest are reportedly confident about making Dean Henderson’s loan more permanent this summer.
Forest are not keen on paying Manchester United’s valuation of £25million but are still optimistic of getting a deal done.
According to The Athletic, an agreement for the England international could be wrapped up quickly once David de Gea’s reduced-terms deal is made official.
Man United midfielder Fred admits his future remains up in the air.
“I still don’t know, I have to talk with my family,” he said.
“I still have one year left on my contract here. Now it’s holiday time and a good opportunity to rest.
“I’ll talk to my staff, to the club and see what everyone’s decision is.
“I do have to talk with Ten Hag as well. He’s the manager and the conversation has to involve everyone. We have to see how next season will plan out.
“I want to be important, I want to help the team, so we’ll see. But I’ve always been and still am very happy at Manchester United.
“Of course I always want to be playing, to be helping my team, and gladly I started the final and I think we played well.”
Newcastle are tracking Manchester United target Kim Min-jae, talkSPORT understands.
Napoli centre-back Kim has a £42million release clause, which United boss Erik ten Hag is keen to activate.
Lisandro Martinez says Manchester United must improve this summer.
He said: “I’m really happy to be here, it’s a big dream of mine.
“Never-say-die is my mentality, I try to show in every ball, in every game, that is what I like. That is my game as well, to give everything that I have.
“You have to be calm, and make the right decision, so it’s very important when we have the ball, to keep playing, to not be nervous.
“I try to do my best, give a lot of energy to the team and have a good attitude as well, with passion.
“We have a really good mentality here and we’ve changed many things. We’re in a good way but we still have to improve a lot.”
Manchester United are reportedly ‘one step away’ from completing a deal for Monaco defender Axel Disasi.
According to L'Equipe, United are close to signing Disasi, who is also being tracked by Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
The reports claim a deal is set to be done but the clubs are yet to begin final negotiations.
Cristiano Ronaldo believes he ‘opened a box’ by moving to Saudi Arabia, with former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema since following.
Former Man United forward Ronaldo joined the Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr in December, and he will be competing against Benzema next season who has now joined Al Ittihad.
The likes of N’Golo Kante and Riyad Mahrez have also been heavily linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.
Discussing the deal, Ronaldo said: “I knew that me going to Saudi Arabia would open a box and I wasn’t wrong.
“I’m sure in a couple of years or three, this league is going to be one of the most important leagues in the world.”
Andy Cole believes Manchester United signing Harry Kane and Declan Rice would improve their team but they still wouldn’t overtake Man City.Speaking to BoyleSports, he said: “If Harry Kane wants to leave Tottenham and Man United wants to spend £80m+ on a 29-year-old, soon to be 30, then that’s entirely up to them. “For me, Manchester United have to make up their mind whether they want to go for more senior players like Casemiro so they can bring success quicker, or they can build for the future.”If you buy Kane, you need to replace him in two years’ time. Manchester United have been doing that for too long now since Robin van Persie came in for two years. “Look at Manchester City when they bought Erling Haaland at 22-years-old, they can keep him for five years and then sell him for a profit while getting the best out of him.”The instant success route of the transfer strategy will catch up with you eventually because you’ll need to replace those older players. “If Manchester United buy Kane and someone like Declan Rice, they still wouldn’t be able to win the league anyway because the point gap between Manchester City is too big. “Two players can improve your team, but they won’t make you overtake Manchester City. “Everyone was talking about Arsenal winning the league this season and they folded because Manchester City are the better team and have the better squad.”
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Benjamin Pavard this summer.
Sky Germany claim the versatile French defender is set to leave Bayern Munich for around £35million.
They add that both Manchester clubs are keen on the 27-year-old with Real Madrid and Barcelona among his other suitors.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Manchester United are set to make their opening bid for Mason Mount.
Chelsea remain determined to get a top price for the England star.
But United are said to be relaxed over the deal as they believe Mount wants to move to Old Trafford.
More on Declan Rice and West Ham,chairman David Sullivan has confirmed to talkSPORT that the England star has played his last game for the Hammers.
When asked whether last night’s historic victory over Fiorentina was Rice’s last match in a West Ham shirt, Sullivan said: “I think it has to be.
“We promised him he could go. He set his heart on going. You can’t ask for a man who has committed more to us this season.
“In due course, he has to get on and we have to get a replacement – or several replacements.
“It’s not something we want to happen. We offered him £200,000-a-week 18 months ago. He turned it down.
“It’s cost him £10million to stay at West Ham in that time (in lost wages). And he wants to go.
“You can’t keep a player who doesn’t want to be there.”
When asked if the Hammers have received an offer, Sullivan said: “No. But I think the offers will start to come today.
“There are three or four clubs who have shown interest, but out of respect to West Ham, while we’re still playing, you don’t make offers for players.
“That’s not the way decent clubs do things.”
Arsenal are reportedly set to bid £90million for Declan Rice but Manchester United could make a move for him too.
The Daily Mail are reporting that the Gunners are keen to ‘swiftly conclude’ a deal for the England international.
They add that the Hammers want any fee to be paid off in full inside the next two years and they are still holding out for over £100m.
The reports add that United remain keen on Rice as well and are looking to offer players in part-exchange in a deal.
German champions Bayern Munich are interested too.
Tottenham have unveiled their kit for the 2023/24 season this morning and Harry Kane is front and centre of the launch.
talkSPORT reported on Wednesday that Kane would feature prominently as part of the launch, despite the speculation over his future.
It is perhaps the biggest hint yet that they are confident he will stay at the club amid interest from Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Spurs remain confident he will stay at the club next season.
Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester United target Vanderson.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Barca are pleading with Vanderson’s club Monaco to agree now to a deal that would see the defender join next season.
Xavi is keen to sign the Brazilian right back but due to the club’s financial situation, they will likely be unable to secure the transfer this summer.
And with Man United looking to swoop in during this year’s transfer window, Barca are desperately looking to seal a future deal before the Red Devils can get involved.
Manchester United coach Benni McCarthy has said ‘it would be a crime’ to let David De Gea leave the club this summer.
And talkSPORT understands that De Gea is ready to snub a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia to stay at Old Trafford this summer.
McCarthy will be pleased with the news after defending his goalkeeper following the criticism he received for his performances throughout the season.
He said: “He kept 17 clean sheets in the league. Yes, of course, you’re going to concede, but to win the Golden Glove for yet another season is remarkable.
“You see how difficult the league is so I understand that everyone has a bad game here and there, but it doesn’t stop him from being one of the best goalkeepers I’ve seen and I’ve worked with. He is unbelievable.
“I work with him every single day and I get to see first hand more than what most people get to do. You only see him on a Saturday or on a matchday, and if you see him make a mistake the critics hit the roof.
“But I get to spend every single day with him and he is an unbelievable guy, a great lad, very intelligent and one of the best goalkeepers I have seen.
“It would be a crime if Man United lose a goalkeeper like David de Gea.”
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is being tracked by Tottenham, according to reports.
The Evening Standard report that Spurs have considered an approach for the 30-year-old following a glowing recommendation from England teammate Harry Kane.
But the report adds that new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou prefers to work with younger players and there are concerns about Maguire’s around £190,000-a-week salary.
Former Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has admitted he wants to win the Champions League for his former club.
The Inter Milan star told reporters, via the Daily Mail: “Being a former United player is probably extra motivation. It will be good to play against them. It will be like a derby for me.
“We need to be ready and play our own game to beat them. It will not be easy. They are the best team in the world but we have our qualities and we have to show them. We have the ability to beat them.”
Borussia Dortmund have now confirmed they have agreed a deal with Real Madrid for Manchester United target Jude Bellingham.
In a statement, the Bundesliga side revealed Madrid have agreed to pay £88.5million for the midfielder, with an extra amount of around 30 per cent of the fee agreed.
Should the add-ons be reached, the deal could rise to £115million.
Manchester United face their move for top defensive target Kim Min-jae being hijacked.
The Napoli defender has a £42million release clause that becomes active on July 1 and the Red Devils remain favourites to sign him.
But according to the Sun, Kim’s representatives held talks with Newcastle chiefs at St James’ Park at one of their last home games of the season.
Bruno Fernandes has reacted after Jack Butland’s Manchester United exit.
Butland failed to make a single appearance for the Red Devils after arriving on loan from Crystal Palace in January.
He will now join Rangers on a free transfer this summer but clearly made enough of an impact in the Old Trafford dressing room.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been tipped for a move to Newcastle.
Liverpool legend John Barnes told indiabetting: “Maguire can have a better time at Newcastle.
“Because of course, you look at him when he plays for England and Harry always plays and Gareth Southgate loves him in his team.
“It just hasn’t worked for him at Manchester United and once it doesn’t work, it’s going to be difficult for the fans to back him.
“Once he’s got this perception, no matter how well you do for England or elsewhere, it will be difficult for him to do that at Man Utd.”
Manchester United target Jude Bellingham is close to joining Real Madrid.
talkSPORT understands the midfielder is set to sign for Los Blancos in a deal worth £86million plus add-ons, with him set to make his second move since he left Birmingham City in 2020.
The 19-year-old’s fee is also set to benefit the Blues, who will earn five per cent of everything over £20million, which equals a £3.3million windfall.
Borrusia Dortmund have not ruled out a return for Jadon Sancho.
German outlet BILD claim there have bit been direct talks with the Manchester United star but sports director Sebastian Kehl is always in contact with his advisors from the Project Elite Group.
Sancho’s £55million price tag is out of reach for Dortmund so only a potential loan move could facilitate his return to the Bundesliga.
