Elephant kills 2 persons in Gumla

GUMLA: Two persons - a woman and an elderly man - were trampled to death while another man was injured in an elephant attack at Pakut Bagicha under Kamdara police station of Gumla early on Wednesday. The deceased were identified as Juhi Kumari (35) of Turbul village, and Motro Singh (65) of Kuli village. The injured is identified as Bandhana Swansi (55) of Pakut village. Gumla DFO Ahmad Belal Anwar said they gave Rs 20,000 to each of the families of the deceased. TNN
