Louisiana Passes Bill Requiring Minors to Get Parent’s Permission for Social-Media Accounts

Measure follows new laws in Utah and Arkansas, as politicians look to tighten online age restrictions

Louisiana lawmakers passed a bill this week that would require minors to get parental permission to sign up for online accounts, including on social-media platforms and multiplayer games.
