Maharashtra State Cooperative (MSC) Bank has decided to give loans to old housing societies for self-development granting Rs 1,950 cr in the 2023-24 financial year.
Being the nodal agency for such projects, the bank will unveil the criteria for availing such loans next week.
Vidyadhar Anaskar, administrator, MSC Bank, is quoted as saying the project will benefit at least 50 old housing societies.”
According to Anaskar, the housing societies that are 30 years old and eligible as per the required regulations will get loans for the redevelopment of old buildings, as well as construction of new residential structures.
