Duo booked for attacking stray dog

Ludhiana: Two unidentified men were booked for assaulting a stray dog. Haibowal police lodged an FIR against the accused on the complaint of Gagandeep Arora of Durgapuri. Gagandeep Arora said he was in Guru Nanak Colony when he noticed two bike-borne men attacking a stray dog. When he raised an alarm, the duo fled. Investigating officer assistant sub-inspector of police Om Prakash said an FIR under Section 429 of the IPC and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act was lodged against the accused. tnn
