"We found pieces of body in utensils…": Police share shocking details on gruesome Thane murder
32-year-old woman was killed by her 56-year-old live-in partner on the evening of June 07 in Thane, Maharashtra. As per the Police, the accused Manoj Sahni killed Saraswati Vaidya 3-4 days back and after that, he purchased a tree-cutter to chop her into pieces. According to the Police, the accused boiled pieces of her body in a pressure cooker and later filled them into plastic bags to dispose of them. Speaking on the same, Jayant Bajbale, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone I, Mira-Bhayander, Vasai-Virar Police, said, “Yesterday we received a report of foul smell from a flat in a society. When the police broke open the door of the house, they found pieces of a dead body in a lot of utensils and buckets in the kitchen. Investigation revealed that a couple lived there, they have been identified. The accused (Manoj Sahni) has been caught. The body pieces were sent to J.J. Hospital. In this matter, we have registered a case under the relevant sections. Further investigation is on.”
