Has anyone had this issue with DTDC?

@ayaskant12 shipped a phone to me via DTDC. However, the tracking is showing the package to be all over the place. The customer care also can’t seem to pin point where exactly the package is. Has anyone had a similar issue before?

Track once on aftership.com (Altough it shows same content as carrier's website, its more streamlined & easy to understand for layman)
DTDC support should be good as they charge a bomb to transport even a hair strand.
Have shipped very few orders through them, never had any issues, though parcels got delayed but I hammered my local courier office (Talk to them once, make them write a complaint or query with the last branch where it was), they'll be the best people to help you out.

Yes happened to me once. these are errors on tracking. Sadly they will have a tough time locating this.
contact your local dtdc who will do the last mile delivery or main branch in city, they may help you out locating it

Yes, I too faced this issue but it has become more frequent. Three out of my last four shipments had weird info like this. They all got delivered but a couple of them were delayed by a few days.

DTDC lost their licence to operate in my state in 2020, not only because of poor performance but also due to their arrogant attitude.

This looks weird though parcel was scanned yesterday at panchkula, Looks like a barcode sticker(Scanning) problem or something is wrong with their system.

Which state is/was this? And is this still the case?

Mizoram. I'm not 100% sure if the ban is still in effect but I never hear anyone talk abut DTDC anymore.

They committed all kinds of offences while they were operating in my state, They often refused to make home delivery and told customers to collect their packages from their warehouse. Sometimes they returned parcels to the origin without informing the customer, entering false tracking data. Sometimes they kept packages for up to two weeks. They were rude and unrepentant when a customer made a complaint

Some people finally filed a complaint in consumer court. They ignored an order to answer the charges in court. So the court ordered them to pay a fine of one lakh but they still didn't respond. The manager went into hiding when he was summoned to appear in court. They were closed down by the authorities after that.

If anyone has a person to get in touch with yo figure out the exact status of the package, I’d really appreciate it

No, but they pissed off all courier companies by trying to sign up enterprise customers, effectively eating up the lucrative business of courier companies while only being an intermediary. Hence, the courier companies increased the rates they provide to them.

But then that’s business the courier companies are the ones who appointed them as a mediator, As for rates they offer the same rates as companies so what's the harm?

Or am I missing something here?

Mostly harmless.

They're a b2c aggregator, doesn't mean that they have carte Blanche to take over enterprise/b2b contracts.
