‘Appoint grievance redressal officers for Divyangs’

Jaipur: The office of the commissioner for specially-abled persons has issued an order directing all the state government departments to appoint grievance redressal officers under Section 23 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
To ensure all-round development and welfare of specially-abled persons, it was necessary to appoint a grievance redressal officer for providing quick benefits of various schemes to specially-abled persons, said the order by Uma Shankar Sharma, state commissioner for persons with disabilities (PwDs). tnn
