“Vote bank politics” Jaishankar slams Canada over Indira Gandhi’s assassination tableau in Brampton

Videos of parade in Canada’s Brampton, depicting the assassination of former PM Indira Gandhi sparked outrage. On June 8, EAM S Jaishankar sharply reacted to the reports of the controversial Khalistani event in Canada. Indian High Commissioner to Canada on June 8 tweet that he was “appalled by the event”. EAM also gave a scathing reply to Canada’s NSA Jody Thomas for accusing India of meddling in country’s internal affairs. India has time and again raised concerns over pro-Khalistani activities in Canada.
