Dibrugarh trio among students in top-10 list

Dibrugarh: Three students from the Dibrugarh district secured ranks in the list of top-10 achievers in the class 12 boards examination in the commerce stream, the results of which were declared on Tuesday.
Surya Jain of Salt Brook Academy, Dibrugarh, bagged the fourth rank in the state. He scored 467 out of 500 marks in commerce.
Another commerce student from Salt Brook Academy, Rishita Sarmah, ranked eighth in the state by scoring 462 marks.
She shared the rank with a student of Moran town in Dibrugarh district. A student of commerce, Yusuf Ansari of Moran, of Senior Secondary School also bagged the eighth spot with 462 marks.
However, unlike previous years, there were no rank holders from the arts and science streams in the Dibrugarh district this time.
