Woman’s body found in Jharsuguda

Jharsuguda: A decomposed body of a woman was found at Gudibandh area in Ekatali under Jharsuguda sadar police station limits on Tuesday. The body was stuffed in a bag and it lay near the bushes. “Preliminary investigation states that the body belongs to a woman aged 70 -75. We will send it for a postmortem to ascertain the cause of her death,” Jharsuguda SDPO Nirmal Mohapatra said. “Judging from the decomposition, it looks like she died around 12 days ago. We have registered a case of unnatural death case and our investigation is under way,” he added.TNN
