Fast unto death by ministerial employees enters 3rd day

Jaipur: The “fast unto death” being observed by members of the Rajasthan State Ministerial Employees Federation continued for the third day at their mahapadao protest site in Mansarovar area here on Tuesday.
Three of the people observing the fast were taken to Jaipuria Hospital by police for health check-up and later brought back to the protest site after being given first-aid.
President of the federation, Raj Singh Choudhary, said that since the mahapadao began 51 days ago, five employees had died and many others fallen seriously ill, but the government was still not talking with the employees.
“The chief minister has been saying in various meetings that he will decide soon on the demands of the ministerial employees, but even after 51 days of mahapadao and a 58-day strike, no decision has been taken,” Choudhary said.
