New York Is Latest City to Sue Automakers Kia and Hyundai Over Car Thefts

The vehicle companies have offered free software as a fix to the problem

New York City is suing Kia and Hyundai Motor after a rise in vehicle thefts, saying the carmakers have been negligent and created a public nuisance by manufacturing cars that are too easy to steal.
