Triple murder accused brought on prod warrant

Ludhiana: The Ludhiana police brought the accused of triple murder of Noorwala village and Talwandi firing on production warrant on Tuesday and he is in police remand till June 8. The police on Tuesday took the accused Mithun to recover the bike stolen from the house of deceased ASI Kuldeep Singh which he had escaped with after murdering the family. According to the police, the accused had dumped the bike in the river.
Police said that a team has taken the accused along to the phillaur area for the recovery of robbed commodities like gold, cash, rifles and bikes.
The process of recovery is still on. The Phillaur police had arrested Mithun in a murder bid and theft case and during interrogation the police found that the accused had executed a triple murder in Ludhiana’s Noorpur village on May 21 and had fired a gunshot in village Talwandi on May 31. tnn
