Two more suspects arrested in Lebanon triple homicide case
Lebanon City Police Department and Lebanon County Detective Bureau have charged two additional people in connection to a May 30 triple homicide, according to a Lebanon County District Attorney news release.
Ivan Claudio Rosero, 27, has been charged with multiple counts of homicide, conspiracy and firearms offenses in the incident that resulted in the deaths of two boys, 8 and 9, and a 19-year-old.
Rosero's girlfriend, Tiffany Koziara, 34, has been charged with hindering apprehension of Rosero in connection with the homicides. Police have charged her with knowingly providing false information to investigators as to her contact with Rosero and his whereabouts on June 3, 2023, and police say she booked a hotel room for herself and Rosero the same weekend as the search warrant
According to the release, the district attorney's office has filed a notice of aggravating circumstances against Rosero, which indicates the district attorney intends to seek the death penalty against him.
The notice filed against Rosero is identical to that filed last week against Alex Torres-Santos for his role in the murders, the release states.
Alex Torres-Santos, 22, and James Fernandez-Reyes, 16, were arrested on the morning of May 31 after the Lebanon County SWAT team executed a search warrant on the 400 block of N. 9th Street.
Following the arrests of Torres-Santos and Fernandez-Reyes, investigators worked to identify and locate a third suspect, who had fled the Area in a white BMW used in the commission of the homicide, the release states. Investigators linked the vehicle to 34 Cumberland St., the residence of Tiffany Koziara.
After executing a search warrant at the residence by Lebanon SWAT team, investigators determined that Koziara had lent Rosero the vehicle prior to the homicides and that he had fled the area still in possession of the vehicle, the news release states.
Rosero was arrested in Philadelphia Tuesday after a week-long manhunt for him conducted by local law enforcement, Pennsylvania State Police and United States Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.
At the time of the arrest, Rosero possessed the keys to the white BMW, and the vehicle was located nearby, according to the news release.
The release states that during questioning upon his arrest, Rosero confessed to his involvement. He allegedly drove himself and the other shooters to and from the murders in the white BMW. Rosero allegedly admitted he possessed a gun and fired multiple rounds during the homicide.
Sebastian Perez-Salome, 9, Jesus Perez-Salome, 8, and Joshua Lugo-Perez, 19, were killed in the May 30 shooting.
Torres-Santos and Fernandez-Reyes have been charged with three counts of criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, along with various gun-related offenses. Torres-Santos and Fernandez-Reyes also were charged with one count of aggravated assault for Louis Cancel, 33, of Lebanon, who was hit in the next-door residence by a stray bullet during the shooting.
Police located multiple .223 rifle rounds and 9mm shell casings that showed at least 27 gunshots fired at the North 5th Street home on May 30. Officials said these shots came from two different caliber firearms.
A search of Torres-Santos' and Fernandez-Reyes' residence revealed multiple firearms, including an AR-15 and a secondary weapon, which officials said was consistent with the shell casings located at the scene.
Before being arrested, Torres-Santos was on house arrest on bail for two separate incidents, which included violent behavior with firearms. This included allegedly striking a resident multiple times and possessing crack cocaine with intent to deliver. In February, police responded for a report of a gunshot victim, and the same man told officers he was shot again in the leg by Torres-Santos, an affidavit states.
Santos was ordered to wear a house-arrest bracelet. Officials said he wore the bracelet to the shooting, according to Lebanon County Probation Services.
Torres-Santos and Fernandez-Reyes are being held without bail at the Lebanon County Correctional Facility. The district attorney's office announced Friday that they will seek the death penalty for Torres-Stamos.
