NEW DELHI: CRPF personnel can now apply for leave digitally through the E-Leave mobile application or portal and get notifications regarding the status of their application including sanctioning of the leave. CRPF DG Sujoy Lal Thaosen on Wednesday unveiled the digital E-Leave platform that seeks to revolutionise and streamline the hitherto arduous process of leave application by a force employee and its sanctioning by his or her superior.
“Since most of the CRPF personnel are forever on the move, shifting from one deployment station to another, they will now have the facility of applying for leave from anywhere using their mobiles. The sanctioning authority will get notified of the application via the digital platform and can sanction it on a timely basis. The mobile app will have details of each personnel’s leave account including the total number of days of leave availed,” a CRPF officer told TOI.
CRPF in an informative video on E-Leave facility said it would help in maintaining operational strength of the force. The E-Leave platform will enable leave planning, leave balance status tracking and leave management at the company, battalion, sector, zone and directorate level, in a transparent manner. Besides, it is expected to cut short the leave approval cycle.
