Man arrested with MD drug worth 1.5 lakh

Surat: Rander police arrested one person with MD drug worth Rs 1.5 lakh from near Mora Bhagal BRTS on Tuesday. The accused was identified Farhan Kundaliya.
Police said that they acted on a tip-off and stopped Kundaliya when he reached Mora Bhagal in his car. On searching the car, police found 14.99 gram MD drug on Kundaliya. When asked where did he get it from, Kundaliya said that he got it from Nanpura resident Farhan Saiyed. Kundaliya was supposed to sell it to others.
Kundaliya is a textile trader but due to financial crunch, he stated selling drugs. He is also addicted to MD, said police. tnn
