GORAKHPUR: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met around 500 people during Janata Darshan held in front of Mahant Digvijayanath Smriti Bhavan on Gorakhnath Temple premises for the third consecutive day on Tuesday and assured them of resolving their issues promptly and to everyone's satisfaction.
"Those facing housing problems will be provided the same under government schemes. Adequate financial assistance will be provided for the treatment of serious illnesses. Illegal possession on anyone's land will not be allowed. Stringent legal action will be taken against land mafias," the CM said.
Yogi heard the complaints of all patiently and instructed officials to ensure quick and satisfactory resolution of their issues.
"The solution to every problem should be of high quality and satisfactory," he said before leaving for state capital.
When a woman shared her housing problem with the Chief Minister, he assured her that she would be provided housing either under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Chief Minister's Housing Scheme. Similarly, when another woman raised the issue of not receiving electricity connection, Yogi instructed officials to find out the problem and provide her with an electricity connection as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, several attendees also sought financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses from the Chief Minister.
The CM assured them that they would receive substantial support from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for their treatment.
He directed officials to expedite the process of estimating the treatment cost and submit it to the government so that the required funds could be released.
The CM also gave chocolates to children present at the Janata Darshan and encouraged them to study and do well in future.
