Every week, Netflix releases a list of the 10 most-watched TV shows over a recent seven-day period. Below, we’ve listed the top 10 shows in the U.S. from May 29 to June 4, along with general information about each show, including genre, rating, cast, and synopsis.

Who cooks the best barbecue in the country? Netflix is looking for the answer in Barbecue Showdown. Eight of the best barbecue chefs in the country compete in the most “blazin’ hot barbecue competition there is.” The series is back for its second season with even bigger challenges. From surf and turf to the world’s hottest pepper, the contestants must create mouth-watering barbecue dishes or risk flamin’ out of the competition.
Host Michelle Buteau, along with judges Melissa Cookston and Kevin Bludso, will crown the next great pitmaster and award the winner a $50,000 prize. Whatever you do, don’t watch this show on an empty stomach or you’ll risk drooling over the succulent barbecue.
In 2022, Netflix released The Ultimatum, a dating experiment that gives couples eight weeks to decide on marriage. One half of the couple wants to get married, while the other half is dragging their feet. An ultimatum is issued, and the couple splits up to test drive a new relationship with another partner to see if they want to return to their old partner or move on.
The second season is centered around queer love. Five couples made up of women and nonbinary people are presented with the same ultimatum. These couples will soon find out if love is enough and whether they’re with the right partner.
In 2020, Bridgerton became a worldwide sensation with its first season and the sixth most-watched English-language show of all time on Netflix. Its second season took the series to new heights, surpassing season 1 in viewership — it currently sits fourth on the most popular Netflix shows of all time list. Because of the success of the flagship series, Shonda Rimes is expanding the Bridgerton universe with the first prequel spinoff series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
The six-episode series is told over two timelines: In 1761, a young Queen Charlotte (India Amarteifio) meets and marries King George (Corey Mylchreest), rising to power as the king begins to struggle with mental illness; and in 1817 (the present Bridgerton timeline), Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) learns about the tragic death of her granddaughter Princess Charlotte of Wales, which forces the Queen to pressure her children to marry and have another heir. The series drew 148.28 million hours of viewing worldwide in its first four days, the fourth biggest opening of 2023 on Netflix.
Fans of telenovelas can rejoice will be excited for La Reina del Sur season 3 on Netflix. Based on a novel of the same name by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, La Reina del Sur is a Mexican crime drama about the rise of Teresa Mendoza (Kate del Castillo), a young woman with humble beginnings who becomes a heavy hitter in drug trafficking. Teresa becomes the head of her organization, but with great power comes even bigger enemies, forcing her on the run.
The third season picks up with Teresa’s escape from prison and her attempt to reunite with her daughter, Sofía (Isabella Sierra). All 60 episodes of La Reina del Sur season 3 are now available to stream. The English remake, Queen of the South, can also be watched on Netflix.
The plane might have disappeared, but the series did not as it found a new home on the streamer. After NBC canceled Manifest following three seasons, Netflix saved the show based on its strong viewing numbers on the service. Netflix ordered one final season of 20 episodes. The first 10 episodes of season 4 premiered on November 4, 2022.
Now, Manifest‘s final 10 episodes are available to stream. For the survivors of Flight 828, the Death Date is rapidly approaching, and it’s unclear if they can respond to enough Callings to ensure their survival. A familiar face returns for these last episodes, but that’s all we’ll say to avoid major spoilers. It’s a battle between good and evil in the “most terrifying, suspenseful, and joyous chapter of the Manifest story.”
When has a Tinder date worked out? In the new Colombian drama Fake Profile, Carolina Miranda stars as Camila, a Las Vegas cabaret dancer who matches with a Colombian surgeon named Fernando. Upon meeting, their chemistry is palpable as the two spend a romantic evening together. The next day, Camila and Fernando agree to try a long-distance relationship.
After a few successful meetups in Las Vegas, Camila makes an unannounced trip to Colombia to surprise Fernando. Much to her surprise, Camila learns that Fernando has been lying about his identity, so she moves in next door to learn the truth. Camila should’ve taken the loss and moved on, but instead, she becomes entangled in the deception.
For years, The CW has produced popular teenage dramas that have produced massive fandoms. Gossip Girl and Riverdale come to mind right away. All American is trending in that same direction. The premise revolves around Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), a football player from South L.A. who is recruited to play for the affluent Beverly Hills Hight.
It’s a classic fish-out-of-water tale that explores the differences between two vastly different worlds. In season 5, Spencer is now in college playing for the GAU Condors. With college comes an entirely new set of challenges as Spencer and his friends navigate young adulthood.
Three words: Arnold is back. Actually, Arnold isn’t back at all, considering the iconic figure has never starred in a scripted live-action television series. That is until FUBAR, Netflix’s new action comedy headlined by Schwarzenegger. In the series, Schwarzenegger plays Luke, a CIA operative set to retire.
However, Luke is brought in for now last mission – to extract another and secure a dangerous weapon from a secret location. When Luke arrives on the scene, he learns that his daughter, Emma (Monica Barbaro), also works for the CIA and has been tasked with the same mission. It’s the father-daughter team-up with an action twist, making it a role right up Schwarzenegger’s alley.
