Now, govt school teachers to be trained online

Jaipur: Training of government school teachers will now be done through online training modules to reduce manpower, time and expenditure in organising training programs every year, said officials on Tuesday.
Naveen Jain, secretary for school education, said that these training videos will be uploaded on YouTube and a studio will be prepared at the state level for recording videos and talented teachers and officers of the department will contribute in preparing them. “Every year the same training is conducted for which teachers have to travel a lot which consumes a lot of time, and they have to face unnecessary trouble. At the department level, videos of such training can be prepared in-house and uploaded on YouTube. Teachers can watch these videos again whenever required and they can also be shown to students. Such videos can be used for years as a permanent asset of the department,” said Jain. TNN
