PATNA: Making a veiled attack on a section of loudmouth

Nitish Kumar on Tuesday said some people are trying to create “meaningless disputes” in the country and talking about even those things which are not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution.
Addressing Haj pilgrims and their relatives during Duaiya Majlis programme to see of haj pilgrims from Patna, Nitish also said frequent attempts were being made to change the country’s history and the facts related to the freedom struggle.
A total of 5,638 people, including 2,399 women, from
Bihar are going on haj pilgrimage this year. Appealing them to pray for the safety and security of the country and its people, Nitish said, “People of Muslim community have not come into the country from other places. They are natives of this place. My father told all this to me during my childhood. We do not make any difference among the members of Hindu and Muslim communities.”
The CM also said, “It is a matter of great happiness that many of the haj pilgrims are women. I never saw such a large number of people from Bihar going on the haj pilgrimage. I extend my good wishes to all,” Nitish said.
Earlier, state’s minority welfare minister Jama Khan and Bihar State Haj Committee chairman Abdul Haque welcomed the CM at Haj Bhawan. Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and chief secretary Amir Subhani also addressed the haj pilgrims.
