Kanpur: Taking a dig at the recently held Samajwadi Party's meeting and its president
Akhilesh Yadav's road show in Lakhimpur, deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak said, “Whatever the
Samajwadi Party may do, its mass base is over. The people of the state have completely rejected the SP because it has only done the work of giving protection to the criminals”.
Deputy CM who was in the city for a review meeting and several other party related events on Tuesday said, “Earlier,
Pakistan used to create an atmosphere of instability and the governments of the Congress party only issued warnings to it but after the BJP government was formed, it not only warned Pakistan, but our Army did the work of destroying 400 terrorists and their bases in Pakistan.”
In the past the Muslim sisters were made homeless but today when the government, led by PM
Narendra Modi made the law against the triple talaq, the Muslim sisters got the right to live with dignity, he further said.
Talking about the grand alliance before the Lok Sabha elections, the deputy CM said, “The alliance does not matter. Till date no one has been successful. SP has tried alliance with every party and they cheated all political parties by forging alliances,” he said and added, BJP is working hard on 2024 and is reaching out to the masses with its development work done in its nine years of regime under the able leadership of the PM.
Sources informed that Brajesh Pathak expressed displeasure when the officials arrived late in the review meeting. He said no officer is above the rule of law.
