The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a man’s shooting death in Oildale.
Deputies were called at 12:35 a.m. Monday to the 200 block of Decatur Street for reports of a shooting and found the victim. Law enforcement thought a suspect was inside the house, and called the SWAT team. SWAT team members didn’t find anyone in the house, according to a KCSO spokeswoman.
