HYDERABAD: A migrant worker has been arrested for allegedly bludgeoning a co-worker to death following an argument over a petty issue at Chowderiguda in Jodimetla.
The accused, Susheel Goswami, a native of Muzaffarpur in Bihar, was arrested at Ghatkesar railway station on Monday afternoon by Pocharam IT Corridor police for allegedly murdering his co-worker, Dheeraj Mandal, 27, also from Muzaffarpur.
On June 4 night, Susheel, Dheeraj along with their co-workers, consumed liquor. An argument broke out between Susheel and Dheeraj over preparation of a chicken dish.
Susheel felt humiliated as Dheeraj used abusive language against him. In the early hours of June 5, Susheel threw a cement brick on the head of Dheeraj when the latter was asleep and fled the spot. He was arrested within a few hours after the murder.
