Samsung was again the first Android OEM to release the newest security update to its phones. The Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Z Fold 4 started getting the June 2023 security update yesterday. Today, the company has released the June 2023 security update to the Galaxy A52s 5G.
Galaxy A52s 5G June 2023 security update: What’s new?
The latest software update for the Galaxy A52s 5G comes with firmware version A528BXXS4EWE2. The update is currently available in Mexico, and other Latin American countries could get the update within the next few days. The update could be released to the Galaxy A52s 5G in other regions over the next few weeks. Samsung has revealed that the June 2023 security update fixes 53 security vulnerabilities found in its phones and tablets.
If you have a Galaxy A52s 5G and live in Mexico, you can now install the new security update on your phone right away. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A52s 5G in mid-2021 with Android 11 onboard. The phone received the Android 12 update in late 2021 and the Android 13 update in late 2022. It will get the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update later this year.
