“We won’t cow down before them…” Omar Abdullah hits out at EC over not holding elections in J&K

J&K National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on June 06 questioned the Election Commission over not holding elections in Jammu and Kashmir. While addressing the media persons, Omar Abdullah stated that elections are their right and they won’t cow down before Election Commission. Omar Abdullah said, “Election is our right. If they want to snatch away the rights of the people of J&K and if that gives them some kind of satisfaction, then do it. We too have self-respect. We won’t cow down before them. Election Commission should answer this, we want to hear from them. If there is any pressure on the Election Commission, then they should say that there is pressure on us and we cannot conduct the elections.”
