Sawant launches education department’s social media handles

Panaji: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Monday launched the directorate of education’s in-house social media handles of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter at the Mantralaya, Porvorim.
This is the first attempt by the directorate to establish dedicated social media platforms for the education department.
The introduction of these social media handles aims to provide easy access to content on mental health, physical fitness, circulars, and other information and awareness about various topics related to education across the state. Sawant said that these platforms will immensely benefit students and educational institutions.
He emphasised that stakeholders, teachers, students, parents, and the public will now be able to access all information pertaining to education through these handles.
