Man’s body on railway track: Wife among 5 held for murder

Vadodara: Six days after a man’s body was found in three pieces on a railway track in Savli, the police arrested five persons including the wife of the deceased. Jatin Darji, a resident of Halol taluka in Panchmahal, was killed allegedly by two men in connivance with his wife Biral who wanted to get rid of her husband.
According to the police, Biral was having an extra-marital affair with Darji’s friend Dharmesh Patel. Biral was not getting along with her husband for a long time. So, she and Patel decided to kill Darji. The duo roped in one of the key accused Nagji Bharwad.
Bharwad then hired two men Vijay Rama and Sandeep Balai for Rs 20,000. As per the plan, Bharwad brought Darji in his car on the day of the murder and they both had liquor on a farm in Savli taluka. Vijay and Sandeep too joined them later. When Darji got drunk, the trio strangled him and disposed his body on a railway track.
The cops first arrested Vijay and Sandeep who led them to Bharwad. Bharwad spilled the beans and told the police that Biral had hired him in to kill her husband.
