'Election is our right': Omar Abdullah says EC should explain why elections are not being held in J&K

National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah has hit out at the Centre for delaying elections in the state. Speaking to media persons, Omar said that election is the right of the people of the state. HE said that the Centre seems to be enjoying the fact that they have snatched away the rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He also questioned Election Commission’s silence, saying it should answer why elections are not being held in the state.
