Karnataka accident: 5 killed, 13 injured as cruiser rams into lorry in Yadgir

YADGIR: As many as five people were killed and 13 others injured when a cruiser rammed into a lorry stationed at roadside in Yadgir district of Karnataka on Tuesday.
The road crash occurred at Balichakra cross on National Highway 150 A under Saidapur police station limits.
The accident took place when a cruiser, carrying 18 people from a family from Velugodu village of Andhra Pradesh, rammed into a lorry stationed at roadside.
The cruiser commuters were said to be traveling to participate in an annual Urus of Khaza Bandenawaz in Kalaburagi.
On receiving the information, Yodgir DSP and Saidapur police went to the spot.
The deceased were identified as Nayamt Ulla Maqbul (40), Muddasir Muneer, Rameeja Mohammef Khasim (50), Summi Mashum Basha (12) and Muneer. Police said all bodies are shifted to mortuary of Saidapur government hospital.
Injured people are identified as Aayisha Mashum Basha (4), Anas Mashum Basha, Suhana Mashum Basha (8), Rameeja Muneer Shaik (32), Masi Ulla Nehamat Ulla (14), Seema Nyamat Ulla, Riyaz Unbee Zakeer Hussain (35), Mujju Muneer (12), Naseema Nyamat Ulla (36), Mashum Basha Khashim Sab (40), Mujakeer Zakeer (20), Haneefa Mashum Basha (30), and Sohel Khaleel (15).
All injured people are admitted to the government hospital in Yadgir.
