PPCB holds drive against SUPs

Ludhiana: Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) and Hero Heart Wing of DMCH on Sunday jointly organised an awareness programme to mark World Enviroment Day.
An interactive seminar was held where participants were briefed about ban on single-use plastic (SUP) items and ill effects of plastic pollution, by chief environmental engineer Sandeep Bahl. He said that he also briefed them about ‘Mission Life’ programme of the Government of India. tnn
