    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Sky Gold, The Hi-Tech Gears, Talbros Auto, RPP Infra Proj and Pondy Oxides, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:40AM(IST)on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 78.8 points to 18612.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

    However, stocks such as Shekhawati Poly, Quicktouch Technolog, Power & Instrument, Silly Monks Entertai and Advitiya Trade India, touched their fresh 52-week low.

    Overall, 33 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 traded in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Axis Bank, Adani Ent., Maruti Suzuki and Sun Pharma were among top gainers, while Divis Labs, Tech Mahindra, BPCL, Asian Paints and HUL traded in the red.

    The BSE Sensex was trading 301.67 points up at 62848.78 at 10:40AM(IST).

    Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Defence, Learning & Education, Textiles and Tea / Coffee sectors, while selling was visible in Real Estate, Trading, Media & Entertainment, General and IT Enabled Services sectors.
