World Environment Day: Army personnel clean Coimbatore’s Race Course walking path

COIMBATORE: As part of World Environment Day, personnel from the 110 Infantry Battalion (TA), Madras Territorial Army, cleaned the Race Course walking path here on Monday morning.
Colonel Dinesh Singh Tanwer, Commanding Officer 110 Infantry Battalion (TA) ,Madras, Coimbatore Corporation commissioner M Prathap and 60 personnel from the Territorial Army and 20 conservancy workers from the city corporation cleaned the Race Course walking pathway from 6am to 7.30am.
They collected polythene covers and other garbage from the area. The city corporation has requested the people not to litter in the area.
