Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 11.81 crore), Brightcom Group(number of shares traded: 7.57 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 2.58 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 1.92 crore), Lloyds Steels(number of shares traded: 1.63 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 1.46 crore), IDFC First Bank(number of shares traded: 1.26 crore), BEL(number of shares traded: 1.26 crore), Vakrangee (number of shares traded: 1.26 crore) and Trident Ltd(number of shares traded: 1.25 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:50AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 82.2 points up at 18616.3, while BSE Sensex was up 312.86 points at 62859.97 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd.(up 2.18 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 1.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
