20 booked for attacking priest

GURGAON: Around 20 people have been booked for allegedly manhandling a priest and asking him to shut down a church in Kherki Daula.
"The priest alleged that around 20 men barged into the church on Sunday afternoon and manhandled him. He said he owns the land on which the church has been built," police spokesperson Subhash Boken said. The FIR was registered under sections 147 (rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 295A (whoever, with deliberate and malicious intention of outraging the religious feelings), 323 (voluntarily causes hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC at Kherki Daula police station. "The accused will be arrested soon," Boken said.
