Varanasi: Bhadohi police nabbed two fraudsters posing as policemen extorting money from medicine shop owners in the district, on Sunday.
Apart from one SUV and police caps, stamps of chief medical officer Prayagraj and other health officials establishments were also recovered from their possession.

Anil Kumar said Unj police apprehended Gyan Singh Maurya and Sanjiv Kumar Gupta of Phaphamau area in Prayagraj district.
On checking their belongings and SUV, Rs 2,100 cash, police caps and department name plates, five rubber stamps of CMO Prayagraj and other hospitals as well as health officials were recovered from them, he said, adding, police seized the SUV, which carried board of health magistrate with
Uttar Pradesh government official logo.
Kumar said for past many days, complaints were being received of harassment of medicine shop owners in the name of checking drugs licence.
A team led by SO Unj was formed on Saturday to nab the miscreants.
Police said during interrogation, the arrested men confessed to terrorising medicine store owners by posing as health magistrate and drug inspector and extorting money in the name of not taking official action.
Both were sent to jail after FIR while investigation is continuing to trace and catch other members of the gang.
