Ministerial staff meet CS to press demands

Jaipur: A delegation of the Rajasthan Ministerial Employees Federation (RMEF) on Saturday met chief secretary Usha Sharma at the secretariat to discuss their demands.
“The talks were positive but the mahapadao (sit-in protest) will continue till our demands are met,” said Raj Singh Choudhary, president of the federation.
The meeting was held in presence of additional chief secretary, finance, Akhil Arora, and principal secretary, department of personnel (DOP), Hemant Kumar Gera.
Some of the ministerial employees will observe “fast unto death” again from Sunday in protest against the state government's delay in fulfilling their demands and in solidarity with the five employees who died during the agitation in the last 47 days since the mahapadao started at Mansarovar area here.
