HASSAN: Karnataka governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot emphasized the importance of quality education and inclusivity and said education plays a significant role in the overall development of an individual. He also said education must create morality.
The governor was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the renovated building of St Joseph's College in Hassan. "Today, there is a need for education which creates morality in the society. The souvenir consisting of past memories and the institute's annual reports for 2009-22 was released by the governor. The governor was felicitated by Dionysius Fernandes, president of St Joseph's Educational Society, Hassan. Fernandes said the construction of the new college building is a significant step forward in St Joseph's College's pursuit of academic excellence and holistic development. It will provide students with advanced classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, and modern facilities for extracurricular activities.
