In this regard, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued a circular to the airlines. It said, “It should be monitored whether the fares of flights departing from bhubaneswar and other airports in the state are increased due to the unfortunate accident in Odisha. Action will be taken if the fares are increased in such a way,” it has been informed.

It has also been ordered that "if the flight service is canceled or changed due to a train accident, no additional amount should be collected from the passengers".

Odisha train accident: This train accident took place at Bahanaha Bazar railway station near Balasore city of odisha at 7 pm yesterday. According to the indian Railways, 288 people have died and 747 people have been injured as of 2:00 pm today (June 3) in which 3 trains collided and 56 of them are seriously injured.

Prime minister Narendra Modi, who visited the accident site in person, told DD TV, “This is a tragic incident. The government will provide all necessary treatment to the injured. An inquiry has been ordered from every angle. It is noteworthy that those who make mistakes will be severely punished.
