Three people charred to death as truck and tanker catch fire after collision in Gujarat's Vadodara

VADODARA: Three people were charred to death as truck and tanker caught fire after collision in Gujarat's Vadodara.
The incident took place on a state highway connecting Padra and Jambusar, nearly 40 km from Vadodara city, near Masar village, said an official from Vadu police station.
The truck was on its way to Maharashtra from Morbi in Gujarat. It was loaded with tiles when it collided head-on with an empty tanker, reported PTI.
The driver cabins of both the truck and the tanker burst into flames after the collision. The drivers of both the vehicles and tanker cleaner were charred to death, the official said.
The truck cleaner received burn injuries and was rushed to a government hospital in Vadodara for treatment, official said.
