Youth gets 20-yr RI for sexual assault on minor
Ludhiana: A local court has sentenced a person to 20 years rigorous imprisonment for sexual assault on a minor girl. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 2 lakh on the convict. In default of payment of fine, he will have to undergo rigorous imprisonment for one more year. Of the fine imposed on the convict, Rs 1,90,000 shall be paid to the minor as compensation. The accused is 21. tnn
