Miscreants snatch car in broad daylight

Ludhiana: Unidentified miscreants snatched a car from a student in Tuition market area of Model Town Extension on Saturday morning. Police have started a probe into the matter.
Cops said that Jaswant Singh, a resident of Mansooran village in Jagraon, had gone to the Tuition market to attend IELTS coaching class along with his two friends at around 7am on Saturday. While his friends went inside the coaching centre, he was waiting in the car as his class was yet to start.
Cops said that as per the student, three assailants soon arrived and threatened him with sharp-edged weapons. The student tried to resist the carjackers, but they pushed him out and sped away with the car.
The student later called the cops, after which Model Town police reached the spot and started a probe into the matter. tnn
