Three held for misbehaving with RU asst professor
Jaipur: The Gandhi Nagar police station on Saturday arrested three men after an assistant professor at Rajasthan University (RU) alleged that the accused had misbehaved with her on Friday.
SHO (Gandhi Nagar) Surendra Yadav stated that the three men were initially detained under preventive measures, and the FIR was registered on Saturday under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 506 (criminal intimidation) and 354D (stalking).
According to the police, the accused misbehaved with the complainant while she was on her evening walk.
The accused had visited the campus to meet someone.
"They are former students of the same university. They were also suspected of being drunk," said an officer from Gandhi Nagar police station.
