Kanpur: Two men were booked in Narwal police area of the district for allegedly harassing a woman by making a call on her phone.
According to the police, the woman alleged that Virendra and Rinku of the village were forcing her to make a relationship by offering her money and making calls from different mobile numbers. When the woman opposed this, they threatened to kill her.
She made a complaint about this at the Maharajpur police station on Thursday.
The police after lodging an FIR against the two persons started investigation in this regard.
The office of police commissioner BP Jogdand while giving information through Twitter said, “The complainant was being abused and threatened by two persons of the village on the phone, which is being investigated by sub inspector
Rohit Sharma. Further action will be taken on the evidence and other necessary findings."
