INDORE/UJJAIN: Nepal PM
Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on Friday said a ‘new history’ is being written in the ties between India and the Himalayan nation with fresh pacts in connectivity, water resources and energy sectors.
“The kind of agreements achieved with PM
Narendra Modi will go a long way. Modi has said with warm feelings that ties between India and Nepal will rise as high as the Himalayas. It is a matter of pride for us,” he said at a Nepalese community dinner.
“This is my fourth visit to India as PM. Our agreements in connectivity, water resources and energy will go a long way,” he said, adding he will go back and tell Nepal citizens that a “new history is in the making”.
“A new dimension has been added to Nepal-India ties. It is now our duty to strengthen it,” he said, thanking Modi and MP CM
Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the welcome accorded to him. He offered prayers at Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, where he offered Rs 51,000 and a garland made of 100 kg Rudraksha.
