Train mishap in Odisha: Coromandel Express derails near Bahanaga station, hits goods train

Coromandel Express train going from Shalimar to Chennai has derailed at the Bahanaga station in Odisha’s Balasore district. Some coaches of the super fast train have overturned and passengers are trapped inside. Railways and the Odisha government have deputed senior officers and doctors to handle relief and rescue operations. Several NDRF units and over 60 ambulances have been mobilised.
