J&K: Sericulture Department organises Cocoon Auction Market in Udhampur

Government-sponsored Cocoon Auction was held at Sericulture Department Complex in Udhampur on June 01. A large number of cocoon farmers from the district are reaching with their cocoon produce to sell their crops. Cocoon farmers and agents of silk-rearing factories term cocoons from the area as high-grade. They also demanded proper procurement prices for their produce.
