Speaking about the water scarcity in Nashik, Maharashtra Irrigation Department Chief Engineer Vijay Ghogare on June 02 told that they have sufficient drinking water in Nashik. “There are a total of 16 dams and 9 medium dams in Nashik district. All the dams have the same storage as last year’s storage. There is nothing to worry about. Last year, 16 dams had a total of 28 per cent water and now it is 27 per cent. 9 medium dams had a total of 26 per cent and now the water is 25 per cent. There are no problems in Dams’ water. There is sufficient drinking water for everyone,” said Vijay Ghogare.
